FAQ
Does PocketStudy upload my study materials?
No. The current version has no account system, cloud sync, or document upload service. Your study materials stay on your device by default.
Why does the app need Camera or Photos access?
Camera and Photos access are used to import printed or image-based study materials and run OCR entirely on device.
Why does the app need Notifications?
Notifications are used for local review reminders, goal completion alerts, and study-plan feedback.
What if OCR or scanning quality is poor?
- Scan under even lighting and keep the page flat
- Try to keep the full page edge inside the scan frame
- For low-quality images, reshoot or crop the image first
Can I restore a deleted document?
The current version has no trash bin or cloud restore. Once deleted, the content is removed from local data, so please confirm before deleting.
