Privacy Policy
Scan Store is designed to work locally on your device. We do not operate an account system or a server that receives your scan content.
Information the app handles
When you choose to save a result, the decoded QR code or barcode content, barcode type, time, source, title, notes, and favorite status are stored in the app’s local database on your device.
Camera and photos
Camera access is used to recognize codes. Photo access is used only when you select an image for on-device recognition. The app does not save camera frames or the selected original photo.
Collection, tracking, and sharing
Scan Store does not require an account, collect analytics, use advertising identifiers, track you across apps or websites, sell personal information, or transmit scan content to us. Core features work without an internet connection.
External actions
The app opens links, email, phone, or other supported system actions only after you choose to continue. Those actions are handled by the selected third-party app or service and are subject to its privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Saved data remains on your device until you delete individual records, clear all records in Settings, or remove the app and its data. Device backups may be governed by your operating system and backup settings.
Children
The app is not directed at collecting personal information from children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be posted on this page.
