GlowMate is a local-only iPhone app for lighting measurement and screen fill light recommendations.
Data Collection
GlowMate does not collect, upload, sell, or share personal data. The app does not use accounts, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a backend service.
Camera
GlowMate uses the camera preview to estimate brightness and color balance on the device. Camera frames are processed locally and are not uploaded or stored by the app.
Photos
If you tap the shutter in Fill-Light Camera, GlowMate requests permission to add photos to your library and saves the captured photo to the system Photos library. Photos are not uploaded, analyzed by a server, or stored separately by the app.
Local Storage
The app stores your selected language, light settings, and recent lighting records locally on your device using Apple-provided storage. You can clear records in the app.
Network
GlowMate does not actively send network requests. If you tap Privacy Policy or Support inside the app, iOS opens the selected webpage in your browser.
